Dr. Cathrine Polis

Dr. Cathrine Polis is an Orthodontist at Dr. Rachel Navaneelan & Associates in Cornwall.

Dr. Cathrine Polis completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Laval University. She then pursued a one-year general practice residency (GPR) at the Jewish General Hospital affiliated with McGill University, during which she refined her knowledge and skills in various fields such as oral surgery, prosthodontics and endodontics. She then decided that orthodontics was her passion and pursued the three-year specialty program in Orthodontics at the University of Montreal. She simultaneously obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree, with her main subject of research being clear aligner therapy.

Dr Polis is a Canadian and American board-certified Orthodontist, Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCD(C)). She is a member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists (CAO) and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).

In her free time, Dr Polis enjoys travelling with her husband, discovering new cuisines and taking long walks with her precious dog Gypsy.
